  3. INSTRUCTIONS (MS WORD. INSTRUCTIONS (PDF) updated 5/29/2006
  4. DATA SHEET to fill out.
  5. EXAMPLE DATA SHEET
  6. Then email us at at magpie-mail@magpiemonitor.org to learn more, ask questions, and get set up.

When you send in data, please list the following in the subject line of your email: Point Count (variable radius), Your Name. Date

Example, email subject line:
Point Count (variable radius) Jane Doe February 2006

If you have been counting on the Saturday 5 Minute Point Count, Route Count, or as a Bicycle Bird Biologist, consider doing this very important count too. Our current priority is to enlist 300 volunteers throughout Yellow-billed Magpie range to count on this variable radius point count so that we can accurately estimate numbers and range of this special Central California species.

Please tell others about this effort (download a poster for a local bulletin board).
